EXPERIENCED Garden DESIGNER

We are seeking someone with a strong practical background, combining hands-on experience working onsite with the broader team and expertise in office-based design work. In this role, you will spearhead large-scale, bespoke garden and landscape design projects, leveraging your practical know-how and advanced Vectorworks proficiency.

Your role will go beyond designing. It will involve effectively engaging with clients, understanding their visions, and skillfully managing every phase of the design process, from concept to completion. Additionally, your sales acumen will play a crucial role in presenting and selling design proposals to clients.

We are looking for a candidate who can effortlessly transition between working onsite and designing in an office environment, combining their practical experience with solid design skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Garden Design/Landscape Architecture (preferable but not essential)

  • Good practical experience working on-site

  • Experience working in residential garden design (2 years + preferable)

  • Experience in Vectorworks, Sketchup, Indesign, Lumion and Photoshop

  • Planting knowledge

  • Demonstrable experience in the preparation of a wide range of plans, from concept to detailed specification

  • Ability to produce construction drawings

  • Organised, analytical and able to self-manage your time and workload efficiently

  • Professional friendly demeanour, as well as excellent verbal and written skills

  • Ability to take direction.


Horticultural & Logistics Coordinator

We are currently looking for a skilled Horticultural & Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. This position involves working at our private nursery in Alresford, which serves as the hub for our high-quality plant stock used in our landscaping projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in horticulture.

  • Knowledge of plant health, including pest and disease control.

  • Someone who enjoys working outside in all weather conditions.

  • Willingness to travel and assist with on-site landscaping when needed.

  • Physical capability to undertake manual tasks.

  • A reliable team member with a valid driver's license.

  • Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Working as part of a team

  • Daily start time: 8am


Site Supervisor

We are looking for an adept Site Supervisor with a proven track record in both hard and soft landscaping. This senior, hands-on role calls for an individual who can expertly navigate the complexities of on-site project management and play a pivotal role in driving our projects to successful completion. You will be responsible for providing on-site leadership and ensuring the seamless execution of landscaping projects. You will work in tandem with the Project Manager and Operations Director, coordinating the efforts of our wider team and subcontractors to meet and exceed project goals.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in landscaping with a solid portfolio of successful projects.

  • Skilled in following intricate plans and managing detailed work schedules.

  • Competency in project budgeting and financial management.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the capacity to lead and inspire a team.

  • Flexibility to travel to site locations within London and the South.

  • Possession of a valid UK driving license. A company vehicle will be provided for business travel.
